Privacy Policy

Appiness respects your privacy. This policy explains how Appiness handles information when you use the app.

No account required

Appiness does not require you to create an account. In this version, Appiness does not provide online user accounts, profiles or social features.

Data collection

Appiness does not collect personal data from the app, does not sell personal data and does not use third-party advertising trackers or third-party analytics SDKs.

Local app data

To make the app work, Appiness stores information locally on your device. This may include settings, downloaded sounds, imported sounds, sound-bank organization, categories, tags, favorites, snapshots, usage metadata such as play time, and a local subscription status cache.

This local information remains on your device unless you delete it, remove sounds from the app, or uninstall the app.

Subscriptions and payments

Subscriptions are handled by Apple through StoreKit. Appiness does not receive or store your payment card details. Purchases, renewals, cancellations, refunds and billing are managed by Apple and your Apple ID.

Online sound library

Appiness may connect to the online Appiness sound library to display available sounds and download selected audio files. When any app or browser connects to an online service, standard technical information may be processed by hosting providers to deliver the service and maintain security, such as IP address, request time, device/network information and server logs. Appiness does not use this information to create user profiles.

Imported files and recordings

When you import audio content or create recordings, those files are stored locally in the app on your device. Appiness does not upload your imported audio files or recordings to an Appiness account.

Children's privacy

Appiness is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

This privacy policy may be updated when Appiness changes. The updated version will be published on this page.
